Glycolic Masque

Glycolic Masque is to be used as a superficial peel in salons or as a starter peel in a facial rejuvenation program. It reduces the stratum corneum layer and removes excess sebum from the pilosebaceous follicles. Furthermore, it absorbs keratinocyte residue and reduces the oily appearance of the treated area with its astringent effect.
Glycolic Masque enables in-depth cleansing of the skin.

Instructions for use

Cleanse the skin with glycolic acid 20% Pre-Peel (not included). This enables dead cells and surface sebum to be removed. Leave for 1 minute, rinse thoroughly and dry by dabbing with a paper tissue. Before applying the mask, and only if necessary, you can make an incision in the micro-cysts, without draining them.

Quickly apply a thin layer of Glycolic Masque over the whole face. It may be applied in thicker layers on certain areas in order to accentuate the results.

Leave to dry completely for 2 to 3 minutes, or longer on thicker skins (5 minutes maximum).

Remove the Glycolic Masque using damp compresses, without scrubbing. Finish by rising thoroughly and gently.

Apply Stand-by C Cream (ACL 754 925 5), which enables the tissue reparation process to be accelerated. If the reaction seems insufficient after rinsing, apply Advanced C Cream (glycolic acid 30%, ascorbosilane C 5%).

 

Frequency of application

Applications should be at intervals of 10 to 15 days and repeated 4 to 5 times, either continuing with Glycolic Masque, or by adopting, from the second application onwards, Facial Peel for wrinkles with glycolic acid 70%, or Lightening Peel for the treatment of blotches with glycolic, phytic or kojic acid.

No preparation of skin necessary

Post peel follow up

For best results, it is advisable to begin a home-treatment two weeks before, and repeating it between peels.
